Why a dog is our logo

Otis (really spelled Oatis) was my first of many dogs as an adult. He is the reason I fell in love with dogs and I began to rescue. Oatis or Oti as I often called him, lived a great life and I wanted to be sure other dogs received the same opportunity. At one point (when i lived in a much different house, outside of Phoenix) I had 21 rescue dogs staying with me. It was crazy and fun and if Oatis was never in my life, I would have never met any of the hundreds of dogs I have known since that have each stolen a little piece of my heart.
