Crestwood General Contracting | Phoenix Metro, Arizona | Roofing Service, Repair & Customer Solutions
Crestwood General Contracting is growing, and we're looking for experienced, customer-focused roofing professionals to join our team as Service Advisors.
The Service Advisor is a hybrid roofing service technician and customer advisor position. You'll meet with residential and commercial customers, inspect and diagnose roofing problems, explain your findings, recommend and sell the right solution, and perform the approved repair or maintenance work.
Unlike a traditional roofing technician who is simply dispatched to complete a predetermined scope of work, our Service Advisors are trusted to inspect, diagnose, advise, sell and perform the solution. The goal is to solve the customer's roofing problem correctly while providing an excellent Crestwood experience from start to finish.
Roofing experience is required. We're looking for roofing professionals who have the field knowledge and hands-on ability to diagnose common roofing problems and complete quality repairs on Arizona roofing systems.
What You'll Do
Perform Crestwood's $149 Roof Tune-Ups, including detailed roof inspections and preventative maintenance included within the program.
Respond to residential and commercial roofing service appointments.
Inspect roofing systems to identify leaks, damage, deterioration and other service or maintenance needs.
Diagnose roofing problems and determine the appropriate repair or maintenance solution.
Clearly explain roof conditions, findings and recommended repairs to customers.
Prepare and present accurate service estimates and obtain customer approval for recommended work.
Perform approved repairs and service work, whenever practical, during the service appointment.
Complete tile, shingle, flashing, penetration, sealant, underlayment and other common roofing repairs within your training and capabilities.
Identify roofs that have reached the point where repair is no longer the best solution and create replacement opportunities for Crestwood.
Document inspections, repairs and completed work with appropriate notes and photos.
Maintain accurate customer, appointment, estimate and job information in Crestwood's CRM.
Communicate professionally with homeowners, property managers, investors, commercial customers and other Crestwood clients.
Build long-term customer relationships that lead to repeat service, maintenance, referrals and future replacement opportunities.
Represent Crestwood with professionalism, honesty, quality workmanship and integrity.
What You'll Work On
Service Advisors should be comfortable diagnosing and performing a variety of common roofing repairs and maintenance, including:
Roof leaks
Broken, slipped or missing tiles
Shingle repairs
Flashing repairs
Roof penetrations and exposed fasteners
Sealant and waterproofing work
Vent and skylight repairs
Minor underlayment repairs
Storm-related damage
Drainage and debris issues
Preventative roof maintenance
Roof Tune-Ups
General residential and commercial roof service
The Service Advisor is expected to understand the difference between a repairable condition and a roofing system that requires more extensive work or replacement. Larger or specialized scopes may be referred to Crestwood management or the appropriate production team.
Sales & Customer Service
This position isn't about selling customers work they don't need.
Our Service Advisors are expected to find the problem, explain the problem and recommend the right fix for the job.
That means being able to communicate confidently with customers, explain why a repair is recommended, provide accurate pricing and ask for approval to complete the work.
When additional legitimate roofing needs are discovered, the Service Advisor should educate the customer and provide appropriate Crestwood solutions.
Our approach is straightforward:
Inspect. Diagnose. Educate. Recommend. Solve.
Compensation & Earning Opportunity
This is a W-2 roofing service and customer-advisor position with the opportunity to earn great pay while helping our clients protect their homes and properties.
The compensation program is designed to reward Service Advisors for quality workmanship, productivity, customer service and revenue generated through properly diagnosed and completed roofing work.
Specific pay, commission, incentive and bonus terms will be provided under Crestwood's written Service Advisor Compensation Plan.
Crestwood Provides
Crestwood provides a company-supported system designed to help Service Advisors stay organized, serve customers professionally and build a successful book of service business, including:
Scheduled company-generated service appointments
$149 Roof Tune-Up appointments
Company phone
CRM and customer-management technology
Service pricing and estimating systems
Company-approved customer materials
Crestwood-branded apparel
Management and production support
Opportunities to work with residential and commercial customers
Opportunities to generate additional service and replacement business
Who We're Looking For
We're looking for an experienced roofing professional who combines technical roofing ability with strong customer-service and communication skills.
The ideal Service Advisor is:
Experienced with Arizona roofing systems and common roof repairs
Capable of inspecting and diagnosing roofing problems
Comfortable safely accessing and working on roofs
Able to perform quality roofing repairs independently
Comfortable explaining technical roofing issues in terms customers understand
Confident preparing estimates and asking customers to approve recommended work
Honest and solutions-oriented
Organized and capable of documenting work with photos and notes
Comfortable using a smartphone, CRM and other technology
Self-motivated and able to manage multiple appointments
Professional in appearance and communication
Focused on doing the right repair, not simply selling the biggest job
A valid driver's license, reliable transportation as required by the position, and the ability to safely perform the physical duties associated with roofing service work are required.
Our Goal
We aren't looking for someone who simply patches roofs.
We want to build a team of knowledgeable Service Advisors who can walk onto a property, understand what's happening with the roofing system, communicate it clearly to the customer, recommend the correct solution and have the hands-on ability to get the problem fixed.
A successful Service Advisor creates value for everyone involved: the customer gets the right solution, the Advisor builds a successful career, and Crestwood earns a customer who trusts us with their property for years to come.
Inspect. Diagnose. Solve. Build Relationships.
Be a Roof Dog. Make an Impact.
